Lindybaby CD-ROM Instructions

The CD-ROM works just like the website, so it includes the HTML code (the programs that will run on your browser) as well as the MPG movies (the higher-resolution versions). PC's and Mac's should be able to read the CD-ROM.

When you open it, you'll see two files: INDEX.HTM and an HTML directory. All of the code and movies are in the HTML directory. To run the main page, just click on INDEX.HTM and your browser should be activated and display the main page. If not, run your browser first and then open that file.

As you open each move, the appropriate HTML code will be read just as if it were on a website, except you won't have to be online. When you click on a view for a move, your browser will try to open the movie associated with that view. If you've never opened an MPG movie before, you'll have to specify which program you want to use to open it. Once you do, just set this up with your browser as the default action for those files. Otherwise, you might be asked whether to Save or Open the file every time you click on a movie, which will become annoying pretty quickly.

Note that you'll need your own MPEG player (available free online, try media player if you don't have one). Most video players nowadays (including the free one recommended) even let you slow down or frame-by-frame video if you want to see the details of the moves.
